Terms and Conditions
For e-commerce at northseasaltworks.no the following applies:
Languages: Because of the technical platform we are on our online store will only have one version, but we will try to include descriptions in multiple languages for the products offered. The shopping cart and check-out process will be in English.
Shipping and handling: We have created fixed costs for shipping and handling based on regions of the world and weight. If you do not find your region or a weight that matches your order please contact us and we will be happy two assists you.
All packages will be shipped with The Norwegian postal and shipping service Bring. We will use the most environmentally friendly shipping method available for the destination. Final delivery method to you will also depend on the destination. You get a shipment number by e-mail so you can track your shipment through bring.no.
Transmission time will vary depending on which country the package goes to. To all countries except Norway goods are sold without VAT. Any fees / duties that must be paid by the recipient will depend on the individual country laws and regulations.
Personal customer data are not entrusted to others. You can choose at anytime to be deleted from our customer list.
Returns and Complaints:
NB! By Norwegian laws there are no returns on sealed goods which are not suitable for return of health-related or sanitary reasons and where the seal is broken after delivery. Salt goes under this rule.
For non food products applies:
Regret period – acc. Purchase Cancellation Act of 21 December 2001: You have 14-days to cancel the purchase and return the item from the day you received the item and information about the right to cancel. If you do not want to keep the item, you must give the seller notice within the deadline.
Buyer must notify the seller if the purchase cancellation right is to be used. The deadline is considered met if the message of cancellation is sent by the deadline. There are no formal requirements for the message, but it should be in writing (email is fine). If the conditions for cancellation are met, seller must return all costs charged the buyer. Return costs must however be paid by the buyer. All products returned to northseasaltworks.no must be packed in proper packaging. Damage caused by inadequate packaging may result in the customer loses his right of purchase cancellation.
The warranty provided by Norwegian consumer law gives you the right to complain of defects in a product within a certain time limit – normally within two years. In cases there are defects, you must notify the seller as soon as possible. You also need to comply with complaint deadlines in writing.

The purchase agreement is binding once you have received your order confirmation email. North Sea Salt Works do not have responsibility for pricing errors caused by exchange rate changes, force majeure, local delivery problems, tax changes, sold out items, system errors and misprints.
Note that user errors are not covered by warranty.
Sales terms for business customers:
Same sales conditions as for private customers, but with the following changes:
Corporate customers have no right of cancellation, unless it is entered into a special agreement between buyer and seller.
Corporate Customers only have 1 year warranty from date of purchase (ref. Purchase invoice).
If using the warranty purchaser must pay for transport of goods, including shipping costs.
All prices are incl. VAT and in Norwegian kroner unless otherwise stated.
